NewsApril, 2 Saturday Night Live staffer speaks out on Morgan Wallen exit![]() A Saturday Night Live staffer has spoken out about Morgan Wallen's sudden exit from last weekend's show. The country singer sparked confusion after cutting his recent SNL guest appearance abruptly short on the weekend, leaving producers of the live comedy show scrambling to cover for his absence. Now, an employee of the long-running TV programme has reportedly broken ranks to explain what happened. "He was unprofessional the entire time and came in with a chip on his shoulder," the staffer reportedly told Mail Online. "He thought that he was this massive star that deserved to be treated as if they were lucky to have him and when he wasn't getting that he threw a tantrum." Instead of mingling with the sketch show's comedians on stage while the credits rolled, Morgan, 31, opted to leave the studio and travel directly to the airport for a flight home. "SNL has never had anyone exit before the credits," the employee claimed, "and this really p**sed a lot of people off." From the airport, Morgan posted a photo of his private jet with the caption, "Get me to God's Country" - which the staffer said went down badly with the SNL team. "His post right after was a total slap in the face for the folks who work so hard on the show," they added. The staffer added Morgan was unlikely to be invited back, claiming, "all it did was get him blackballed from ever appearing on SNL again".
