NewsMay, 30 Shawn Mendes announces 2025 tour![]() Shawn Mendes has announced a new tour to mark his 10-year anniversary on the album charts. The 26-year-old Canadian pop star burst onto the music scene in 2014 with his first single, Life of the Party, which was the lead track from his 2025 debut album, Handwritten. With his first album now a decade old, the chart-topping star has announced his On the Road Again Tour, to celebrate the landmark. Sharing his news in a statement, the Stitches singer said, "I feel like time away has allowed me to come back and recognise and remember how unbelievably special it is to get to play live shows. "It's an honour and I'm just beyond grateful that you guys keep showing up after 10 years with so much love." The tour is set to kick off on 2 August in Kosovo and will see him taking in dates in London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Munich, Boston, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more. The tour will end on 17 October and marks his first full tour since the abruptly cancelled Wonder: The World Tour of 2022. Mendes has picked out MARO and Lubiana as his support acts in Europe, while Eddie Benjamin will support him in North America. He added, via Instagram, "I came across MARO's music a few years ago and she immediately became one of my favourite artists. To be honest, I'm pretty beside myself that she'll be joining us." Mendes shocked fans in 2022 when he cancelled his planned 87-date Wonder: The World Tour after just seven shows - revealing he was battling mental health struggles. He embarked on a six-date For Friends and Family Only tour in 2024 in support of his most recent album, Shawn, which was released last November.
