D4vd back in the charts amid investigation into dead teen found in his car

D4vd's song Romantic Homicide is climbing the charts as the singer is questioned by police about the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

The 13-year-old vanished in California in April 2024, and her decomposed body was found in the boot of the artist's Tesla after it was impounded.

Now D4vd's song is back on the Billboard 200 chart and has had more than 12 million streams. The song hit number eight on Spotify on Monday and is also doing well on YouTube and Apple Music.

Romantic Homicide is about killing a woman with his mind and not regretting it.

"In the back of my mind, you died, And I didn't even cry, No, not a single tear, And I'm sick of waiting patiently, For someone that won't even arrive.

"In the back of my mind, I killed you, And I didn't even regret it, I can't believe I said it, But it's true, I hate you."

Other songs by D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, have also been doing well. Feel It is in 38th place on Spotify chart, and Here With Me is at number 39.

Internet sleuths have also unearthed an unreleased December 2023 track by the artist titled Celeste_Demo unfin.
