NewsSeptember, 24 Lana Del Rey denies plastic surgery speculation
Lana Del Rey has denied speculation that she has undergone plastic surgery. The Summertime Sadness hitmaker has taken to Instagram to shut down rumours claiming she went under the knife. Lana, 40, first addressed the speculation after a social media user posted about her 2008 EP Kill Kill, which she released under her real name, Lizzy Grant. "lizzy grant u will never be forgotten," the fan wrote in the Instagram post, to which Lana then replied, "Ugh she never went anywhere, no more of that." In a separate post shared by a fan account, another social media user commented on the Born to Die singer's appearance, writing, "Her natural nose was so perf (perfect)." The comment prompted Lana to clarify that she had never had any cosmetic surgery. "Still never even been under the knife or anesthesia in my life for the 15th year in a row!!" she wrote. However, the hitmaker did go on to reveal that her doctor performed a minor procedure, commonly known as a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, using filler to "build up the bridge of (her) nose", which altered its appearance. Unlike a surgical rhinoplasty, this procedure relies solely on needles and fillers, making it less invasive, and the results typically last up to six months. Lana is currently working on her tenth studio album, due to be released at the end of January 2026. Ahead of this, she released two singles, Henry, Come On and Bluebird, in April.
