Chipmunk dreams of Rihanna duet

Chipmunk is still holding out for his dream duet with Rihanna.

The rapper, who mentions the Umbrella star in his track Flying High, insisted that the collaboration will happen - because he has already dreamt about it.

"You know, what's funny is that I had a dream that I did a song with Rihanna. So yeah, one day I'm going to do one," he told the Daily Mirror.

It's not just wishful thinking for Chipmunk - real name is Jahmaal Fyffe - who has already met the superstar.

"I met her once in a club. It was very brief, but she's a star. She walks in and you know she's there," he recalled.

The 20-year-old, whose new single Take Off featuring Trey Songz is out now, caused controversy when he recorded Champion with Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who had been convicted for assaulting her. Chipmunk didn't let the case influence their musical work.

"I never talked to him about that. I stay out of people's personal lives. I'm not going to lie - every single person told me not to do that track. I don't care," he continued.

"Even before I started rapping, I was a fan of Chris Brown and I still am. I think he's the best alive. Working with him wasn't something I had to think twice about. That song felt like it was written for me and Chris."
