NewsAugust, 17 Singer hints tour may be the lastScouting for Girls have revealed they will be unlikely to tour again after this year's time out on the road. Speaking after the band performed at the V Festival, singer Roy Stride said the Greatest Hits tour later this year may well be their last. The tour is due to kick off in November and follows the release of their Greatest Hits album in July. Roy said: "The record label said after three records let's do a greatest hits and we were like fair enough. Otherwise we probably wouldn't have done a record for another year or so. "I don't think there will ever be an end to Scouting for Girls until one of us dies. We're all friends from school. I think they'll be times when we don't do anything. We've got a tour in November. I think after that we won't do anything as a band for a couple of years and then we'll come back and do something." However Roy hinted that the band may not get back together at all. He said: "I think we have to come back with something incredible to come back at all." Speaking about playing at the sold out V Festival at Weston Park in Staffordshire, Roy said: "It was amazing. It was definitely the best gig we've had over the last couple of years. "V Festival has always been really good to us. It's been one of the best crowds we've ever had. It went all the way to the back - you couldn't see any grass, it was amazing. Let's see if they let us come back next year. It may be our performance of the summer." Around 85,000 people are expected to attend the festival over the weekend. This year's line up boasts Kings of Leon, who were headlining the festival on Saturday, and Beyonce, who will bring the festival to a close on Sunday. Other acts appearing over the weekend include The Vaccines, Emile Sande, The Saturdays, Katy B and McFly.
