Timberlake meets brain op girl

Justin Timberlake put his media tour on hold to meet a young girl who survived brain surgery.

The Suit And Tie singer was hurrying to get to a live radio interview in New York when he met a woman whose 13-year-old daughter Giana DiLascio had undergone a brain op, and was so keen to meet the youngster that he halted his tour.

TMZ reports that kind-hearted Justin waited while Tina DiLascio went to get her daughter, who underwent the operation last year to correct a blockage in her pituitary gland.

Tina said Giana and Justin talked for several minutes and that the star thanked her daughter for calling him "the next Michael Jackson".

The singer also agreed to pose for a picture with the excited schoolgirl but joked that he would only do it "if you make it your screen saver".
