Freida Pinto goes Gorilla with Mars

Freida Pinto has made a surprise appearance in the music video to Bruno Mars' new single, Gorilla.

The Indian model-turned-actress, who is dating actor Dev Patel, stars in the video as a sultry pole-dancing temptress, who strips down to her smalls on stage. Later, she is getting intimate with the singer in the back of a cab.

"Got to admit this was a hard secret to keep!" she tweeted.

Freida - who has been dating British actor Dev since they met on the set of Danny Boyle's Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire - previously showed off her sexier side, when she posed in her underwear for Esquire magazine in 2012.

The 28-year-old has described her boyfriend as her soulmate, because of the experience they shared on Slumdog.

"When you've shared something like that, you have no-one else to go to but that person who completely understands," she told The Independent.

"So if I have a complete downer, he knows exactly how to uplift my moods and I can do the same for him. It actually helps a lot having gone through the same experience, when that experience is so unique."
