McCartney tempted for rap track
Sir Paul McCartney has hinted that he would collaborate with rap royalty Jay Z and Kanye West.
The Beatles star said he would have liked to team up with the two heavyweights if he had recorded a rap track on his new album New, reported the Daily Mirror.
Asked by Zane Lowe about the funk-infused Appreciate, Paul said: "(I) resisted the temptation to get a rapper in."
And when the presenter questioned him about a possible collaboration, he replied: "Oh, Jay Z, Kanye."
The 71-year-old previously admitted that the last albums he bought were by the duo in his first live Twitter Q&A.
"The last albums I bought were by @kanyewest @The_National @thecivilwars and @s_c_ (Jay Z)," he wrote.
The live interview took place at The Shard in London for Bang & Olufsen's Living Room Tour.
