NewsOctober, 24 Bunton: Spice Girls weren't sexualEmma Bunton has insisted the Spice Girls were sexy but never "sexual" like the many current female pop stars. The 37-year-old mother-of-two performed with the hit girlband as Baby Spice, wearing babydoll dresses and pigtails, but told The Daily Mirror she thinks current chart stars such as Miley Cyrus and Rihanna are much more overtly sexual. Emma said: "Back in the day, the Spice Girls were fun and sexy. But we weren't sexual. "Now people do take that next step and put it out there a bit more with their videos and stuff. "If that's how someone wants to be, and they're confident enough to bare themselves, then that's completely down to them. But it's something that I personally wouldn't do. "But I'm sure all this sexuality will be complained about and then it will be dropped again." Emma, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisolm and Melanie Brown reunited to perform at the London Olympics Closing Ceremony last year, but Emma ruled out a further reunion. She said: "We'll definitely have a party of some sort, but no reunion. Definitely not. Well, not that I know of. "It's really difficult because obviously the Olympics was our last big thing which, we all said, was one of the best things we've ever done." She said that it would be "very hard" to top the Olympics performance and that if they did decided to mark their 20th anniversary it would have to be something "very special".
