The Saturdays launch Poppy Appeal

The Saturdays are set to headline a pop concert for armed forces families which kicks off the Poppy Appeal 2013.

Union J, Tich, Luminites and The Poppy Girls will also join them at today's concert at RAF Northolt in north London.

The Poppy Girls will perform the official Poppy Appeal 2013 single The Call (No Need to Say Goodbye).

The Royal British Legion's (RBL) is hoping to raise £37 million this year, with the Poppy Appeal contributing to the fundraising target .

Union J's George Shelley said it would be "amazing" to launch , adding: "Personally, the poppy means a lot to us, it's a symbol of pride.

"I have a brother serving in the Royal Marines, Josh's dad was in the Navy for 10 years, and Jaymi's uncle was in the RAF and fought in the Falklands war. We think of them, and all the others who have bravely served, every time we put a poppy on."
