Barlow onside for World Cup anthem

Take That star Gary Barlow has teamed up with Gary Lineker as well as other past England stars to record the squad's song for this summer's World Cup.

Gary is going from Back For Good to back-four good as he headed into the studio to work on the as-yet-unnamed track.

Chart stars including Katy B, Mel C and Pixie Lott are among the figures who will also feature on the anthem designed to spur on England's hopes in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

A group of 12 former England players - including the likes of Sir Geoff Hurst and Michael Owen - turned up at Sarm Studios in West London where they also worked on the video to accompany the track.

It was also the location for the recording of the B and Aid single in 1984 and the new promo will be unveiled for the first time during the TV broadcast for Sport Relief night on Friday, March 21.
