Bass on coming out to 'N Sync pals

Lance Bass has revealed that when he came out to his 'N Sync bandmates it didn't go quite according to plan.

The singer who performed with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick in the boyband, said that Joey had walked in on him with a boyfriend before he'd had the chance to tell anyone.

According to Us Weekly, he told Access Hollywood: "Joey walked in on me with the guy I was dating just kind of sitting on my lap. Straight guys don't do that.

"He was like, 'Dude, I don't care.' I'm like, 'Surprise!' Joey was just like, 'Dude, I don't care. I have so many gay friends - I don't care'."

He added: "It was a few months after that before I told the [rest of] the guys. I don't think anyone was surprised."

Lance is now planning to marry partner Michael Turchin, who he proposed to in August last year.

Of their wedding plans, he said: "They're coming slowly, but we figure it's going to be at the end of the year, or maybe early next year. We might push it a couple more months. Again.

"It's been a busy year, so we haven't been able to plan a thing yet. It's looking like it's a couple of months delayed."
