NewsMay, 23 Kanye West begs forgiveness for antisemitic actions![]() Kanye West has begged for forgiveness after sparking outrage with antisemitic comments. Over recent months, the 47-year-old rapper has ignited fury by sharing Nazi imagery online - and achieved even higher levels of offence when he released a song titled Heil Hitler in recent weeks. On Thursday, the musician took to X where he issued a string of posts in which he vowed to stop making antisemitic comments and asked for forgiveness. He wrote, "I am done with antisemitism," followed by, "I love all people," and then added, "God forgive me for the pain I've caused." The Jesus Walks rapper went on to write, "I forgive those who have caused me pain," and added, "Thank you God." Offering insight into his new mindset, the rapper revealed he had made contact with the children who he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He wrote, "I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again..." and then added, "The earth itself is in Gods Kingdom," before sharing further messages asking for peace and love. West's words could ring hollow, however, as he previously issued an apology to the Jewish community following a social media post in 2022 that declared he was going to go "death con 3 on Jewish people". Despite his apology at that time, he later provoked outrage when he attempted to sell a T-shirt design featuring a swastika via his website and declared himself "a Nazi". West reportedly lost endorsement deals with Balenciaga, Universal Music Group, Gap following his outbursts - while his Hitler-praising song was banned from all major music streaming services when he attempted to release it this month.
