NewsNovember, 4 KATSEYE call off Detroit show as Megan falls ill
KATSEYE had to pull the plug on their Detroit concert at the last minute on Tuesday, with member Megan Skiendiel too unwell to take the stage. A representative for the group shared the news on Instagram Stories, explaining that the performance at Little Caesars Arena would not go ahead that evening. The message said Megan was unable to perform and needed time to rest and recover, though no further details about her illness were given. The statement also included an apology to fans who had already made the trip or arranged their plans around the show. The group said they were deeply disappointed not to see everyone and thanked fans for their patience and understanding, adding that they couldn't wait to be back with them soon. The concert is part of The Wildworld Tour, and a replacement date has yet to be announced. This isn't the first disruption to the run. Manon Bannerman previously confirmed she was stepping back for a hiatus to look after her mental health, while Sophia Laforteza is not taking part in the North American leg. KATSEYE are next due to perform in Chicago on Thursday.
