Williams bares chest in online pic

Robbie Williams has posted a topless picture of himself online to prove he isn't getting fat.

The Take That star was recently snapped at a restaurant in California looking a little more chunky than usual, but he took to Twitter to bare his six-pack and show the world he is actually in good shape.

Robbie, who posed shirtless and flicking one-finger salutes, tweeted a message to the photographers who took the unflattering picture.

The 38-year-old said: "Thank you for your internationally syndicated horrid picture of me (the one you put up of me leaving Taverna Tony's...)

"Just to 'weigh' it up here's me at home the next day..."

He signed off: "With much love and respect, Robert."
