Flavor Flav sharing the flavour

Flavor Flav is returning to Las Vegas to open a fried chicken and soul food takeout restaurant.

The Public Enemy rapper and reality TV star is holding a grand opening ceremony at Flavor Flav's House of Flavor, a few blocks southeast of downtown Las Vegas, the night before his 53rd birthday.

Flavor Flav - real name William Jonathan Drayton Jr. - is not new to the chicken restaurant business.

A short-lived franchise dubbed Flav's Fried Chicken opened and closed last year in Clinton, Iowa.

An announcement said the Las Vegas store isn't associated with the one in Iowa.
