Katseye Postpone Second US Tour Show Amid Illness

Katseye have called off another date on their US tour, making it the second show to be postponed.

The announcement arrived only hours after the group cancelled their previous stop in Detroit, which was pulled roughly 30 minutes before they were set to perform.

Writing on X, the group explained that the night's show at the United Centre would not go ahead because of Megan Skiendiel's illness. Fans were told to stay away from the venue, since the doors would not be opening for that evening's performance.

The message also asked ticket holders to keep their tickets, confirming they would remain valid for a rescheduled date. It closed with a thank-you to fans for their patience and understanding.

The Detroit cancellation had been shared the evening before, when a notice appeared on screens at Little Caesars Arena at 7.30 pm. By then, the audience was already inside, and the message informed them that the group would not be appearing on stage at 8 pm.

Reaction online was mixed. Some questioned the timing, calling the decision extremely last minute and describing it as suspect, while others said the news could have come sooner. Plenty of fans also sent their support to Skiendiel, with one person posting on X that they hoped she was doing okay and sending love to the group.

Katseye are made up of Skiendiel, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Yoonchae Jeung, Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza.
