Jess Glynne slams White House over Jet2 Holiday deportation video

Jess Glynne has slammed the White House for using her 2015 song Hold My Hand in a video of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers deporting migrants.

The song is included in the viral Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday TikTok audio.

Millions of TikTok users in recent weeks have heard a British woman declare "Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday," a clip from an advertising campaign for British airline Jet2 that has gained new life as users set the sound to videos depicting holiday disasters or other unexpected moments.

The sound has become one of this summer's biggest TikTok trends. The audio has been used in nearly two million videos

The official White House social media accounts posted a video on Tuesday night, depicting ICE agents deporting migrants, set to the viral TikTok sound.

The White House captioned its post: "When ICE books you a one-way Jet2 holiday to deportation," adding, "Nothing beats it!"

The post went viral on social media, garnering seven million views as of Wednesday afternoon.

Glynne slammed the White House in a post on Instagram Wednesday morning.

The British singer declared that the post makes her "sick" because her music is about "love, unity, and spreading positivity - never about division or hate".
