NewsOctober, 26 Adele urges fans not to vote for Donald Trump as she weighs in on US election debateADELE has entered the US election debate by urging fans not to vote for Donald Trump at a gig attended by Hillary Clinton. The British star told the audience at a Miami stadium show that, while she is not able to vote in the looming election, she does not want the Republican candidate to win. The plea comes after Adele told Mr Trump to stop using her music at his public appearances. Video posted online appears to show Adele prompting cheers by telling the crowd: "I do know what to do - don't vote for him that's what I'm saying." According to the Democrat's spokesman the singer said onstage that she is "100% for Hillary Clinton" and added: "I love her. She's amazing." She told the audience that while she is British, "what happens in America affects me too," according to the spokesman. Adele's hits Rolling In The Deep and Skyfall were played at Mr Trump's political rallies earlier this year, prompting her spokesman to point out she had not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning.
