Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly have kicked off a new wave of dating speculation.

The Fifty Shades of Grey actor was seen with the musician in New York City, heading into an apartment owned by Taylor Swift. Photographers caught the two getting out of a black SUV and vanishing into the Tribeca building, with TMZ publishing the images.

According to the outlet, Johnson and the rapper first met earlier this year at Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.

So far, neither Johnson nor MGK has commented on the rumours. Both tend to keep their personal lives under wraps.

Before this, Johnson was with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for close to eight years, an on-and-off relationship that lasted from 2017 until they parted ways in 2025. More recently, she was linked to singer Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury. Word of their split began spreading in August this year.

Kelly has a young daughter with his ex-fiancée Megan Fox. The pair got engaged in January 2022 but ended things in November 2024 after a rocky few years. Their daughter, Saga Blade, arrived in March 2025, and the former couple have been co-parenting since.
