Anderson .Paak Settles Divorce with Jae Lin

Anderson .Paak has reportedly reached a settlement in his long-running divorce from his ex-wife, Jae Lin. According to TMZ, the musician filed court documents on 2 September indicating that he and Jae had agreed on how to divide their property and on support payments.

The details of the agreement regarding custody of their two children, Soul Rasheed, 15, and Shine Tariq, eight, have not been disclosed. The Silk Sonic artist, who was married to his second wife for 13 years, originally filed for divorce in January 2024, requesting joint legal and physical custody of their sons.

In March, Jae Lin – also known as Jaylyn Chang – filed her own requests, asking for primary physical custody and spousal support. She proposed that both parents share legal custody, with .Paak having secondary physical custody and visitation rights.

The couple tied the knot in November 2010 after meeting in a gospel class at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Since their separation, .Paak has been the subject of dating rumors, including speculation that he is involved with Mariah Carey. The two have been seen holding hands after collaborating on their duet Play This Song.
