Oasis to Reveal 2027 Tour Plans Next Week

Oasis have finally given fans a date to circle: the band will unveil their 2027 concert plans on Monday (14.09.26) at 4pm BST.

The Britpop veterans had already been teasing UK and European shows with a run of cryptic clips, and they confirmed the timing of the official announcement through a huge drone display above Manchester's Etihad Stadium – one of several venues the videos had hinted at. Hundreds of drones rose over the city carrying the message "Oasis, 14.09.26 and 4pm BST".

One of the clips offered a strong clue that the band will head to Paris in 2027 – the same city where their split played out 17 years ago. Posted across their social channels this week, it quickly had fans analysing every frame.

In the video, a man in a leather jacket eats a plum from a paper bag and then throws it across the street. The scene nods to the infamous backstage argument between Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher at Rock en Seine in 2009, when a plum thrown during the row hit a dressing-room wall just before the band were due on stage. Noel later described the moment while announcing his first solo album in 2011, saying Liam walked out, threw the fruit and came back swinging an acoustic guitar "like an axe", which brought Oasis to an end.

That Paris teaser came after last week's viral video featuring two boys – clearly styled to look like young Liam and Noel – in a British chip shop, with Little By Little playing on a TV behind them. Fans set about dissecting every detail, sure the clips are full of clues about where and when the 2027 dates will happen.

Reddit users have been especially busy, with plenty of them noting latitude and longitude figures hidden on posters in the first teaser. Those coordinates seem to point to Celtic Park in Glasgow, which has led to speculation that the tour might begin in Scotland.

The Sun's Bizarre column has previously reported that Oasis will play a record six shows at Knebworth and a 12-date residency at the Etihad Stadium.

Rome is among the other European cities that have been hinted at.
