Lady Gaga reportedly welcomes first child

Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have reportedly become parents for the first time.

Page Six editors said on Friday that the music star had recently given birth. They also shared a photo of Gaga – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – carrying a newborn in a baby carrier as she walked in Northern California with Michael and a friend.

Nothing has been made public yet about the baby's name, sex or date of birth, and neither Gaga nor Michael has commented on the news.

The Poker Face singer has stayed largely out of the spotlight since finishing her The Art of Personal Chaos concert series in April, which supported her eighth studio album, Mayhem.

She and Michael, a venture capitalist, got engaged in April 2024 after roughly four years together. In an ELLE UK interview published in January 2025, the A Star Is Born actress said the couple had been discussing children.

"That's something Michael and I have talked about a lot – allowing our kids to be their own people," she said at the time. "It's such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. And they're told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat... I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are."

Gaga also said her life in the near future would include "me and Michael and our kids".

"It's funny; sometimes I worry people will say I'm boring these days, but honestly, thank God I'm boring. Thank God!" the 40-year-old added. "Because I was living on the edge. I don't know what was going to happen to me living that way. So, the fact that I have these answers, on the one hand, I'm like, 'Oh man, snooze fest!' But actually, I'm so grateful. Because I found a sense of happiness and joy that is true to me."
