NewsSeptember, 11 Oasis tease new tour with Manchester drone show
Oasis gave fans a hint about their next tour by putting on a drone display above Manchester's Etihad Stadium on Thursday night. On Friday the band shared clips of the spectacle on Instagram. Drones formed the Oasis logo in the sky over Manchester, then switched to the date "14.09.26" and the time "4PM BST", a sign that tour dates will be revealed on Monday at 4pm U.K. time. Over the past week the group has been posting video teasers on social media, offering clues about where they might play next. The clips point to shows in France, Germany, Italy and Spain – countries left off their 2025 run – along with cities including Glasgow, Manchester and Boston. Talk of another tour has been building for weeks. Among the rumoured dates are a residency in their home city of Manchester, possibly at the Etihad Stadium, and a return to Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, where they played two famous shows in August 1996. Liam and Noel Gallagher and their band came back together for the 2025 dates, their first reunion since splitting in 2009. That tour opened in Cardiff, Wales on 4 July and wrapped up in São Paulo, Brazil on 23 November. Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger, a documentary about the tour, had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month and arrived in cinemas this week. It includes behind-the-scenes and performance footage, plus the first joint interview the Gallagher brothers have given in over 15 years.
