Rosé and Jessica Sanchez Join Asian Hall of Fame

Rosé and Jessica Sanchez are among the 2026 inductees into the Asian Hall of Fame.

Rosé became a star as a member of Blackpink, a group with three top 10 albums on the Billboard 200. In February, at the 68th annual Grammy Awards, she picked up three nominations for APT, her hit collaboration with Bruno Mars.

Sanchez broke through in 2012, finishing second behind Phillip Phillips on Season 11 of American Idol. Thirteen years on, she returned to win America's Got Talent in 2025.

The Asian Hall of Fame was founded in 2004 and, according to a press release, works to "strengthen interracial synergy by advancing mainstream recognition of Asian achievement and indigenous legacy".

"During times of worldwide conflict, Asian Hall of Fame serves as a beacon of cross-cultural collaboration and interracial synergy," said Maki Hsieh, the organisation's president and CEO.

"Class of 2026 Inductees and Goodwill Ambassadors are role models whose endearing legacies advance culture, commerce and community for generations to come."

Dennis Quaid is being inducted as a Goodwill Ambassador. Since appearing in the 1990 film Come See the Paradise, he has spoken out in mainstream media against anti-Asian discrimination.

The organisation's 22nd ceremony takes place in Los Angeles on 5 November.
