David Guetta Wins Record Sixth Top 100 DJs Crown

David Guetta has been named The World's No.1 DJ for a sixth time, setting a new record. The result was revealed live at [UNVRS] in Ibiza as part of DJ Mag's 2026 Top 100 DJs poll.

Votes in the poll, described as the largest publicly-voted music survey in the world, were verified across 234 territories. The sixth win makes Guetta the most successful artist in the poll's history. Over the past year he also collected another five billion streams and became the first artist to reach 22 number ones on the US Dance Airplay chart.

Guetta spoke about what the win means to him: "To become the first artist to win Top 100 DJs six times while being part of this moment for dance music is incredible. DJs are now playing stadium shows that were once reserved for the biggest pop and rock acts."

The venue for the announcement, [UNVRS], also made history by being named The World's No.1 Club in its first year of operation. Other winners on the night included Charlotte de Witte as The World's No.1 Techno DJ, Indira Paganotto as the first recipient of The World's No.1 Psy DJ award, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike as The World's No.1 DJ Group.

Further down the 2026 list, Anyma rose to No.3, Fred again.. moved up to No.16, and UK house artist Josh Baker was the Highest New Entry at No.40.

The poll also continued its partnership with Bridges for Music, raising £120,000 to support the education of 120 students at the charity's music academy in Langa, South Africa.
