Karol G and Rosalia Lead 2026 Latin Grammy Nods

Karol G, Rosalia, Jorge Drexler and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso are tied with seven nominations each at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards.

All four are nominated in the big three categories: Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Edgar Barrera, who works as a producer and songwriter rather than a performer, leads the overall field with 10 nominations.

Karol G, who earlier this year became the first Latina artist to headline Coachella, is nominated for Record and Song of the Year with Coleccionando Heridas. Rosalia's La Perla is up in the same two categories.

Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, said in a statement on Wednesday: "We are honoured to present this year's nominees for the 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. These artists reflect the extraordinary diversity and constant evolution of Latin music, and our Academy continues to evolve in response to this dynamic, creative landscape. At the heart of our Awards Process are our members, whose participation and expertise ensure that the Latin Grammy remains the benchmark for excellence in Latin music."

One of the year's most talked-about snubs was Romeo Santos and Prince Royce's Better Late Than Never, which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Tropical Albums chart and No. 2 on Top Latin Albums but came away with no nominations.

Voting opens on 1 October, and the awards ceremony will be held in Las Vegas on 12 November.
