Glastonbury 2027 coach tickets sell out fast

Glastonbury 2027 coach tickets sell out fast

The first round of coach tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2027 disappeared in under half an hour, the BBC reports.

After taking a fallow year in 2026, the festival returns to Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, from 23 to 27 June 2027. Coach tickets went on sale at 18:00 BST on a Thursday and were gone in record time, with organisers confirming the sell-out on Instagram.

General admission for 2027 costs £408. Jessi Dimmock, who works on the festival podcast Glasto Cast, told the BBC that fans may flinch at the price, since tickets now start with a four rather than a three. Even so, she said nothing else compares. "Anyone who has been to Glastonbury, it is magical," she said. "It's just chaos in the best way... you can't count how much it is worth it for that money."

Buyers faced a new system this time. To keep things moving, fans had to submit their pre-registration numbers before entering the virtual queue, which shut down a loophole that had let people use several browsers to grab extra places. Registration closed before the sale, but anyone who missed out can try again in a spring resale.

Attention has already turned to who might top the bill on the Pyramid Stage. Talk of a possible Oasis appearance grew after the band announced 2027 tour dates, but organiser Emily Eavis shot the rumours down on social media, saying the Britpop group will not be at Worthy Farm next year. No 2027 headliners have been confirmed.
