NewsOctober, 17 Zara Larsson already has a name for her next era
Zara Larsson has her sights set on a more refined look for what comes next, and she already has a title in mind for it. On the Las Culturistas podcast, hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang asked the singer whether she was at work on a follow-up to her 2025 album Midnight Sun. Larsson said she knows exactly what her next era will be. She described the shift as no drastic turnaround, keeping the fun, joy, happiness and colour of her current sound while making it more elevated and polished. She has a name picked out and a clear idea of what she wants, though she isn't finished with the Midnight Sun chapter just yet. Fans may get a hint of where she's heading from the video for her track Blue Moon. Larsson hopes it leaves viewers feeling that they are in the same world as before, only a little further along. Whatever comes next, she wants to keep building trust with listeners and invite them along on the journey. She also confirmed she is eager to tour again. Her dream is a full arena run with a big production, the same stage wherever she performs and everything she has imagined, so she can entertain audiences as well as she possibly can. Larsson said she simply can't wait for it.
