Ezra Collective Land First UK Number 1 Album

Ezra Collective have topped the UK album chart for the first time, with their fourth studio album, Here Because Of Hope. The London jazz group – Femi Koleoso, TJ Koleoso, Ife Ogunjobi, James Mollison and Joe Armon-Jones – also take first place on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, having sold the most physical copies on wax in the past week.

The record, which won the 2023 Mercury Prize for the band, explores the movement of people, sound and culture across generations, and how those journeys keep shaping British music today.

In the rest of the Top 10, Bloc Party earn their sixth Top 10 album as Anatomy Of A Brief Romance arrives at Number 6. It also lands at Number 1 on the Official Record Store Chart, making it the week's best-selling release in independent UK record shops.

Singer-songwriter RØRY reaches a personal best with BLOODLETTING at Number 8, and the album also tops the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart. Dealing with grief, rage and mortality, it outperforms her 2025 project RESTORATION. Responding to the result, RØRY devoted the achievement to Miles Kent, to those lost too soon, and to her fans, the #37Club.

Lower down, electronic producer Bonobo collects a fourth consecutive Top 40 album as Distance in Static enters at Number 11, while metal outfit Green Lung make their Official Albums Chart debut with Necropolitan at Number 25.

Oasis see a big revival after announcing their 2027 tour dates. Their greatest hits collection Time Flies... (1994-2009) rises 10 places to Number 5, and (What's The Story) Morning Glory? climbs to Number 12. Definitely Maybe records the largest jump in their catalogue, up 32 places to Number 17.

Finally, Harry Styles' former chart-topper Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. leaps 17 places to Number 27, helped by news that his record-breaking Together, Together Tour will run into 2027.
